Inflammatory Websites?

After days of ambiguity and chaos, we have gotten ourselves a copy of the Government Order that was sent to all ISPs. Here are all the websites that were asked to be blocked:

  1. http://www.hinduunity.org
  2. http://mypetjava.mu.nu
  3. http://pajamaeditors.blogspot.com
  4. http://exposingtheleft.blogspot.com
  5. http://thepiratescove.us
  6. http://commonfolkcommonsense.blogspot.com
  7. http://bamapachyderm.com
  8. http://prinesskimberly.blogspot.com
  9. http://merrimusings.typepad.com
  10. http://mackers-world.com
  11. http://dalitstan.com
  12. http://hinduhumanrights.org/hindufocus.html
  13. http://nndh.com (fax scan unclear, could be wrong)
  14. http://bloodroyaltriped.com
  15. http://imagesearch.yahoo.com
  16. http://imamali8.com
  17. http://rahulyadav.com
I couldn't find any inflammatory comments in these sites. The basic freedom of every Indian Citizen is Freedom of Speech. If you dont allow freedom of speech, then how are we different from China & North Korea?

There are so many things I want to say about the process on how this happened, thats for another post.

Well I sure hope that the people who follow Ganesh don't catch on to this one! After all, the elephant is venerated in Alabama, too. (It's the team symbol for the Crimson Tide.) GOI could end up with a lot of enemies.

Quote: The notice did not specify the reason why they were to be blocked, but according to informed sources, the Indian government wanted to block these websites and blogs in India because of apprehensions that these were likely being used by terrorists to communicate with one another. :Endquote

Are these officials that stupid to think that by stopping blogs on a few sites terrorists will stop communicating?? Duh!!!
