What's playing in my car's CD Player

Here's what I have been listening to in my car during the last few weeks:

Don - The Chase Begins Again: (Why do they have to come up with these cheesy sub titles for Hindi movies?). The upcoming SRK remake of the classic Don from 70s. Very techno-esque music from Shankar, Ehsaan & Loy. Me likes it. My favorite song has to be 'Aaj Ki Raat' sung by none other than Alisha Chinai.

Jillendru Oru Kaadhal - The new Tamil movie starring the just married (in real life, natch) Surya and Jyothika. Usual AR Rahman style. The song that stands out is 'Anbe Vaa Anbe Vaa' sung by Shreya Ghoshal. She has got one of the mesmerizing voices in Bollywood. Absolutely love that song. Also like the song 'New York Nagaram' - an unusually peppy song done by ARR himself. Very catchy tune and the music is as usual top notch. I cant stop humming along the beginning of the song.

I saw the movie as well about a couple of weeks ago. I liked it. I felt that the movie was paced very well and had a very pleasant breezy feel to it. The camera work was awesome. The movie went from Ambasamudram (I used to go here as a kid during summer vacations) to Chennai and then to Mumbai and then briefly to New York. At the end, the director Krishna didn't know how to end the movie but had a twist there which I thought was unnecessary and was in bad taste. But overall Surya, Jyothika & Bhoomika's acting carried the movie for me.

Bombay Jeyashri & Sadhana Sargam - A couple of compilation CDs that I had created composed of these two wonderful singers' songs.
